So I’ll stop putting things into item lists (or at least make sure they are also in a table).

I think some of the discussion here essentially was about whether the various forms of pseudocode are “classical programming code”.
Of course, we also have different jurisdictions in the backs of our minds; if I think about copyright I might really be thinking about Urheberrecht/droit d’auteur…

But large parts of the discussion were about the usefulness of <CODE BEGINS> in a document without being informed that this is a legal mechanism only.
