every body:
     hi! I need your help.
when I installed ubuntu 14.04 (64bits) via usb flash disk ,I had to set "acpi=off" and  "noacpi".
but when the system was install successfully,I found I couldn't shutdown the ubuntu with command
"sudo shutdown -h now" or click the shutdown button on my desktop.it freezed on the picture with
purple backgroud and some splashes on it . but it worked fine when I just reboot the system . for all
I kown ,the the acpi is important for sytem to manage the power. If I shutdown the acpi function,I need
to press the power button every time when I want to shutdown the computer ; and the lack of acpi function
may harm my hadware.
   I use thinkpad E425, and  I have try add "acpi_osi=linux" ,"acpi=ht","thinkpad_acpi.brightness_enable=1",
but none of thems worked.
any idea to solve the problem? thanks a lot.
