Heya, I just got this while compiling a kernel: [ 2397.254351] CPU0: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 375867) [ 2397.254353] CPU1: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 375867) [ 2397.254355] CPU3: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 375867) [ 2397.254367] CPU2: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 375867) [ 2397.256369] CPU2: Core temperature/speed normal [ 2397.256370] CPU3: Core temperature/speed normal [ 2397.336654] mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged [ 2451.803515] thinkpad_acpi: unknown possible thermal alarm or keyboard event received [ 2451.803529] thinkpad_acpi: unhandled HKEY event 0x6040 [ 2451.803535] thinkpad_acpi: please report the conditions when this event happened to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [ 2451.804487] thinkpad_acpi: EC reports that Thermal Table has changed [ 2452.008896] EXT4-fs (sda1): re-mounted. Opts: data=ordered,discard,commit=0 Before that happened, my temperature was at 96 degC constantly and the CPU sometimes throttled down from 2.7GHz to 1.8 or so. After this, I'm on 62 degC (so there should be room), but my CPU stays on 800 MHz.
