Hello, I'm new to this list and as the owner of a T430 I would like to assist in development so that I can use more of the features. So far as I can tell most things work, but I definitely lack the thinkpad_ec/tm_smapi/hdaps functionality. Also I guess the fingerprint reader will have to wait on some cleverer people or a newer release from UPEK of theier proprietary stuff. I notice that someone has proppsed a patch to get the thinkpad_ec module to work, but that we need proper recognition of the ec firmware etc etc. What can/should I post here to assist the more experienced developers in showing the way.
