Hi, I saw the following lines in my logs: Jan 16 22:18:57 [kernel] [ 7105.495069] thinkpad_acpi: unknown possible thermal alarm or keyboard event received Jan 16 22:18:57 [kernel] [ 7105.498303] thinkpad_acpi: temperatures (Celsius): 57 0 57 0 0 0 32 0 Jan 16 22:18:57 [kernel] [ 7105.498328] thinkpad_acpi: unhandled HKEY event 0x6040 Jan 16 22:18:57 [kernel] [ 7105.498336] thinkpad_acpi: please report the conditions when this event happened to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx So hereby my email. I believe this event occured when my battery gave the 0% warning-beeps. Besides that i was running a lot of programs, polling every 4 seconds what the temp is for my informationbar. Also running fancontrol. Watching a vid, running chat program, firefox, etc. Seeing that the event has occured a few times in the past days, i am fairly sure it doesnt have anything to do with the 0% battery (its the first time in weeks i had that). I pasted a grep ( cat /var/log/everything/* |grep -B 2 -A 1 "unhandled HKE" ) on my log here: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/535870/ note: I cleaned my logs on jan 12th. I am running kernel 3.2.0 since jan 6th. My kernel = Linux $hostname 3.2.0 #3 SMP Mon Jan 16 19:44:39 CET 2012 x86_64 AMD E-450 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux I am running gentoo. If you want more information, please let me know, i'd be happy to oblige.
