Fn-Scroll is NumLock.. please excuse me if it caused confusion :)

Everything seems to be like in the other versions i tried till now. All the Fn-Combinations and buttons behave the same in terms of acpi-events.. well.. the message on Fn-Scroll is a bit different:

[ 2025.908049] thinkpad_acpi: THERMAL ALERT: unknown thermal alarm received

'thermal' is new to me :)

i was not able to apply the patch for 2.6.32 on the gentoo-sources with the patch-command without errors.. have not tried the vanilla-sources. thats why i booted the livecd as suggested.

i am still able to mute the sound by using the proc-interface, when loaded with volume_control=1, but that confuses the ubuntu mixer-applet (if i mute over proc and then mute by pressing the 'mute'-button, it indicates 'muted' while infact it is not muted... but this isnt a problem with thinkpad_acpi i think :) )

anything else you want to know?
