To get it up to ~5400 rpm (if you are uncomfortable with high temps like
me e.g. keyboard rest pad heats up) you should go with "level
disengaged". It's the only way I've seen so far to get the fan blowing
at full speed and bringing it down from the mid/upper 80's.
