modprobed ibm-acpi experimental=1

hotkeys are enabled

When I press F5 I get the following error in the /var/log/acpid
/etc/acpi/wireless.sh: line 9 : echo: write error: Invalid argument

It turns out that when I try to write
to /sys/class/net/eth1/device/power/state that I get a:
bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument

When I press F7 I get nothing in the logs.

When I press brightness up/down, I get events
notifying client 5345[106:110
psaux |grep 5345 gives
hald-addon-acpi : listening on acpid socket /var/run/acpid.socket

But in X, this still blanks my display up.

I will build these modules and install them.

How do I check my cpu state? The machine has dual core 1.66 GHz Pentium
with L2400 cache. I am currently running both cores at 1000MHz.

Design capacity is 28800 mWh
