I only see this one if ipw3945 is loaded. It seems to be part of that
driver and cannot be used to read the state without the driver or to
trigger module loading/unloading.

And on T60 the HW killswitch also affects bluetooth (maybe even ir?) so
i think it would simply be nice to be able to read its state.
