Hello Stéphane, Stéphane Guedon [2010-08-12 21:59 +0200]: > I have nothing in my bios concerning batteries ! Not in the setup screen, but the BIOS is still responsible for the ACPI implementation. I don't know enough about kernel ACPI initialization to know whether it could be a kernel bug, or is definitively a bug in the BIOS' ACPI implementation/tables. If you make a kernel bug report, please test with the latest upstream kernel first, and include the output of "dmesg", which includes quite a lot of ACPI information. But perhaps try the BIOS update first that Curtis mentioned? > On an other thing, I find strange that I can't find your gpg signature in the > ubuntu keyserver, whereas you're a ubuntu "addicted" dev ... Both my old and my new key are there.. $ gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --search-key martin.pitt@xxxxxxxxxx Martin -- Martin Pitt | http://www.piware.de Ubuntu Developer (www.ubuntu.com) | Debian Developer (www.debian.org)
