Hi, I have been asked by a mandriva guy to report this bug https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=55836 to this list to fix this bug upstream Problem is that the acl list for a Garmin GPS (GPSMAP60CSX) attached using USB is not set so that any ordinary users are allowed to open the USB port and gpsbabel fails (except for root). Details and my hotfix are found in the above mandriva bug report.
