According to Mark, the Itanium2 we have in the lab is an HP rx4640.
Here is the data sheet for this system:

    http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11847_div/11847_div.PDF

I read through it but did not see specific mention of hotplug for CPU or
memory. I haven't found out exactly how much memory is loaded; if that
matters I can dig further.

It supports the 1.3, 1.5, and 1.6 GHz Itanium2 processors, with the
following specs:

   * Level 3 Cache: 3-9MB
   * Level 2 Cache: 256kb
   * Level 1 Cache: 32kb
   * 4GB max page size
   * 64-bit virtual addressing
   * 50-bit physical addressing
   * Single bit cache error correction

The memory supported is DDR SDRAM DIMMS with ECC, with 12.8 GB/s memory
bandwidth. I don't know how much the machine has loaded but this says
it supports 1- to 128-GB. Mark says the other system had 16-GB so
suspects this one does as well.

Let me know if any other info is needed beyond this.

Bryce
