That's great! What upout upstreaming this patch?
I'm pretty sure I posted it, but I don't control upstream.
Probably it will not directly apply since I have other changes in
my tree. You are welcome to try to get it upstreamed.
Thanks,
Ben

Hello,
I'm not sure who should be addressing it.
Hello,
I saw the same problem, and added this patch to my supplicant to address it:
https://github.com/greearb/hostap-ct/commit/1dc0a65f3002e5ef238a07142a2722788c5a1221
Thanks,
Ben
The issue is following, there are multiple APs with single SSID.
Wpa_supplicant does background scans and jumps in between APs upon
smallest disturbance, causing great inconvenience for me
https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/DPMRv5WvDz/ . Changing WPA supplicant's
bgscan option does not seem to work at all it seems in 2.8.
Does anybody know how WPA supplicant chooses to jump from one
AP to another, and if this behaviour can be somehow controlled?
My WiFi card is Intel AX200. I use 20191022 firmware package.
