DPP: the significance of the ssid in hostap configuration

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I configured hostapd and wpa_supplicant according to :

http://w1.fi/cgit/hostap/plain/wpa_supplicant/README-DPP

I have configured hostapd with an ssid of "simplewifi". However, in my
log files I see a strange "test" ssid:

DPP: discovery::ssid - hexdump_ascii(len=4):
     74 65 73 74                                       test

I am not sure where this is coming from - I don't configure it on my
hostapd.conf which is as follows:

nterface=ap1-wlan1
driver=nl80211
ssid=simplewifi
wds_sta=1
hw_mode=g
channel=1
ap_isolate=1
wpa=2
wpa_key_mgmt=DPP
ieee80211w=1
wpa_pairwise=CCMP
rsn_pairwise=CCMP
ctrl_interface=/var/run/hostapd
ctrl_interface_group=0

Any clues about this?

Is there some piece of configuration I've missed?

Thanks

Ranga
