Re: Trouble getting eap_server=1 to run: "Supplicant used different EAP type: 1 (Identity)"

One more update:

Followed a beginners FreeRADIUS tutorial today and used that one
instead of the hostapd internal one.

Both the Nokia N900 and the wpa_supplicant device are able to
connect just fine via WPA-EAP now.

Is the internal eap_server just rudimentary or are my devices too
quirky / non-standard?

Regards, Linus

PS: Will try to compile hostapd v2.5 to check whether that makes a
difference. And might play with "openssl_ciphers=" in hostapd.conf
(unfortunately not available in v2.3 yet - Debian should update their
packages :P).
