Hello, I downloaded glib 2.4.2 / gtk+ 2.4.2 / pango 1.4.0 I build glib 2.4.2 When I try to build gtk+ 2.4.2 on my Fedora Core 1 linuxbox I get the following error: checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config checking for glib-2.0 >= 2.4.0 atk >= 1.0.1 pango >= 1.4.0... Requested 'glib-2.0 >= of GLib is 2.2.3 configure: error: Library requirements (glib-2.0 >= 2.4.0 atk >= 1.0.1 pango >= 1.4. r adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandar fig can find them. I need to create the GTK+ library without installing any 2.4.2 version on my linuxbox. Is it possible and how ? What am I missing ?
