Dear David,

well, as the current maintainer I would be interested in fixing many
things in gpm and also other FOSS. 

Unfortunately gpm seems to have gone out of interest for many people,
including me, as X11 is almost omnipresent.

This is the reason why I like to receive / manage changes via github, as
it is rather easy to use.
