Hi, your config has a lot of typos in it and you'll see warnings about them when you start GnuGk. I would suggest you fix these first. Also, NEVER add comments after config switches! GnuGk only supports comments at the start of the line. So convert switch=0 ; NEVER comment here to ; comment switch=0 In addition to that, you should do a "cvs update ; make clean ; make optnoshared" to compile a clean executable. You said you see different version numbers in different parts of the program and thats a sure sign that GnuGk hasn't been recompiled properly when the source code was updated.
