Andrew,

if you don't want to follow the everchanging CVS repositories, the
reccommendation on gnugk.org still stands:
H323Plus CVS as of 2010-05-25 and PTLIB 2.8.1

That beeing said, for me all 3 CVS repositories compile fine as of
today. Maybe you can post your compile issues to the respective mailing
lists.
