Stewart,

currently, your phone systems are only registered as endpoints and
thus only service 1 alias. They need to have a prefix assigned.
Take a look at how you can do that with [RasSrv::PermanentEndpoints]
for example.
http://www.gnugk.org/gnugk-manual-7.html#ss7.2

If your numbering scheme doesn't match the prefixes you assign in
GnuGk, you also have to implement some number rewriting for calls that
are passed to the other phone system that removes the prefix.

The other thing missing routing information to the other gatekeeper.
You can configure it as neighbor, or you can also configure it as
another permanent endpoint.

Don't get confused. There are many ways to do each of these things
that all work equally well.

Regards,
Jan

I'm a little confused how to setup the config for the service, please find the configuration I am using at the main site:

We would like to connect to an second Panasonic NCP500 phone system that is geographically separated network and also behind a firewall - call this PABX-B. The documentation provided with the phone system wants to use a VPN or similar. Ideally, management would prefer not to use a VPN and this is why we are looking at the gatekeeper software.

What happens is that when a user on PABX-A using an ip phone calls a user on PABX-2 (who also has an ip phone), the phone system will transfer control of the call (at least audio etc.) over to the extensions directly. We think the gatekeeper software can be used and configured so that when the call is handed to the phones this software can transfer the audio as necessary.
