I think you need to add your public IP to the main section like this: [Gatekeeper::Main] Fortytwo=42 Name=OfficeGk TimeToLive=300 ExternalIP=x.x.x.x Andrew -----Original Message----- From: Michael Bondi [mailto:mike@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, November 05, 2009 7:34 AM To: GNU Gatekeeper Users Subject: Calling through two gnugks Hi All, I have two separate gnugks each receiving calls from the internet and passing to the catchall correctly now (many thanks Jan for the pointer). Endpoint 1 <-----> gnugk1 <-----> internet <-----> gnugk2 <-----> Endpoint 2 | | public endpoint I can call in from a public endpoint outside of each network and calls are fine too by using the domain name or the ext@domain syntax. I can call from endpoints on each network to the public IP fine too. Problem: ====== When I place a call from an endpoint on one network to an endpoint on the other network using the H323 url, the call connects but I cannot see or hear the other side. What is making it difficult is that I cannot be in two places at the same time. I have tried connecting the two networks via VPN and then the call works flawlessly, but that's defeating the objective and is getting me really confused. I assumed it may have something to do with the RTP ports used at each of the endpoints and there is a port mismatch if I use endpoints from different vendors. I don't want the gnugks to be neighbors. My gnugks are set exactly the same at each end except for the network addresses. My firewalls are the same as well as the port forwards. I tried with PVX at each end, but I do not get audio or video. I also tried with Mirial but no success. I'll try running a Wireshark trace on each gnugk interface to see what is happening and post further later. Here is my config: ============ [Gatekeeper::Main] Fortytwo=42 Name=OfficeGk TimeToLive=300 [GkStatus::Auth] rule=allow [RoutedMode] GKRouted=1 H245Routed=1 CallSignalPort=1720 AcceptUnregisteredCalls=1 Q931PortRange=30000-30999 H245PortRange=31000-31999 [Proxy] Enable=1 InternalNetwork=192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 T120PortRange=50000-59999 RTPPortRange=1024-65535 DropCallsByReleaseComplete=1 SendReleaseCompleteOnDRQ=1 SupportNATedEndpoints=1 SupportCallingNATedEndpoints=1 TreatUnregisteredNAT=1 [RoutingPolicy] default=explicit, internal, parent, neighbor, srv, dns, catchall [Routing::CatchAll] CatchAllAlias=1234 [RasSrv::LRQFeatures] AcceptNonNeighborLRQ=1 Here is my port forward table: T_120 Always On tcp 1503 - 1503 1503 - 1503 192.168.1.15 <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_edit.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.T_120> <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_del.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.T_120> H_323 Always On tcp 1718 - 1721 1718 - 1721 192.168.1.15 <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_edit.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.H_323> <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_del.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.H_323> H245_Q931 Always On tcp 30000 - 32000 30000 - 32000 192.168.1.15 <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_edit.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.H245_Q931> <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_del.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.H245_Q931> RTP Always On udp 1024 - 65535 1024 - 65535 192.168.1.15 <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_edit.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.RTP> <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_del.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.RTP> T120 Always On tcp 50000 - 59999 50000 - 59999 192.168.1.15 <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_edit.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.T120> <http://192.168.1.1/virtual_server/virtual_del.html?ImFireWall.ImFwInterfaces.ipwan.ImFwNATresvMaps.T120> If anyone can spot my mistake please give me a pointer, I am losing serious sleep over this now!
