Hi folks, here is an update about the new features being developed for GnuGk 2.3.1 that you can already try. They are already available in the CVS for you to use. New config section [ModeSelection] to specify the routing/proxy mode by IP network. New CatchAll routing policy to route all calls to one alias or IP. You can add it to the end of your policy chain to route all calls that would otherwise fail to a specified endpoint. You can now make GnuGk disregard the alias type and case when comparing aliases so alias "Jan" will match alias "jan" for example ([Gatekeeper::Main] CompareAliasType=0 and CompareAliasCase=0). Improved interoperability with H.460.18 endpoints, especially with Tandberg endpoints. A number of fixes for direct mode (some of the advanced routing policies had problems). You can now give GnuGk your own ID for a call in SQLAuth and GnuGk will hand it back to you in accounting events. This allows for much better database indexes than the regular H.323 Call-ID. New status port command ResetCallCounters. RTCP statistics are now sent to the Radius server. There will be one change in default values for 2.3.1: ProxyForSameNAT will default to 1 (was 0) since it is the safer value. Enjoy, and report back!
