P2Pnat Media has now been officially allocated 2 H.460 numbers at the ITU

H.460.23 NAT Determination
H.460.24 Point to Point Media through NAT

GnuGk CVS has been updated to use these official H.460 numbers and a new
version of PacPhone has been released with H.460.23/24 support.

P2Pnat Media allows devices behind NATs using existing NAT Methods (aka.
H.460.18/19 or GnuGk NAT) which require the proxying of Media through a
gatekeeper or proxy to opt, if possible, to send the media directly between
the devices and bypass the need to proxy. This feature should allow up to
90% of the media which used to be needed to be proxied under H.460.18/19 or
GnuGk NAT to travel directly. This greatly increases scalability and makes
NAT Traversal in H.323 far more powerful.
