and I found a few problems with this configuration on linux a few weeks
back and have check in a fix for 2.2.7.
I
suggest you upgrade to the new version when it's
released.
If
working correctly you should need neither the HOME or ExternalIP as GnuGk will
autodetect the two networks (via the route table) and handle the calling
between them without needing the settings.

Subject: General Configuration QuestionsI have some basic questions about what some of the configuration options in the gatekeeper.ini file actually do. My setup is the GnuGK 2.2.3 package for Debian. The box has a WAN interface and a NATed LAN interface. Visually, the setup is:My EPs <--LAN--> MyProxyGK <--WAN---> StateGK[Gatekeeper::Main]Home= <--If set to LAN IP, does this prevent registration from the WAN side or all communication on the WAN side?ExternalIP= <-- does this need to be set for outside EPs to dial my EPs?Thank you!Andrew Struiksma
