I'm planning to move our GD from a P4 machine to a Xeon based. It's installed with OpenSUSE 10.2, only from the CDs and applied with the online updates. I compiled PWLib (make opt) without a problem. The same for OpenH323. When it comes to GnuGK, I was presented with the following messages: /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libresolv.so when searching for -lresolv /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libresolv.a when searching for -lresolv /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libpthread.so when searching for -lpthread /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libpthread.a when searching for -lpthread /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libresolv.so when searching for -lresolv /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libresolv.a when searching for -lresolv /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libdl.so when searching for -ldl /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libdl.a when searching for -ldl /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libm.so when searching for -lm /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libm.a when searching for -lm /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libc.so when searching for -lc /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libc.a when searching for -lc I'm not very sure, but isn't this messages related to the plataform? Something like that it found only 32bits libraries? Or is this an source/Makefile configuration issue? Thanks for any thoughts...
