Hi,

Can you verify that any program is not running on 7000/tcp port ?
# netstat -nl | grep 7000

Or , you can make try by changing port 7000 to 7001 at gnugk.ini .

[Gatekeeper::Main]
Fourtytwo=42
StatusPort=7001

and also you have to point GkGUI to 7001 .

is fine gkgui is active
The problem only on fedora  can't connect to port 7000 although firewall
is disabled rule= allow in configuration
