Hi,
Except that gnugk actually keeps the call leg and it has a pretty good
idea what is going on with the call. In SIP if you lose the connection
OpenSER has no idea that one call party has lost connection.
SIP is a protocol that pretends to handle everything and it does handle
everything in a poor way.
H323 is not a saint also, but at least it can do one thing well, telephony.
