versions of GnuGk.

My suggestion
1. See if ethereal will decode the messages coming from the gw.
2. See if the windows version of GnuGk will decode the message.

If neither work then you will need to get a trace log out of the GW and
post it so we can see which fields are causing the problem in the decode.
