Hi Jason,

My VIP-400FO and GNUGk are both in local lan, i'm testing how they work. First of all i didnt make my gateway get registered in my GK, i dont know wat is wrong, so i put the VIP as a permanent endpoind... so my VIP wasnt detected by the GK. I'll try this configuration that u mentioned " leave the default gateway(i mean router here) to 0.0.0.0 (that is none)" this setting i put on VIP?

Tomorrow i'll post my h323 configuration of the VIP and my gnugk.ini

Thanks for your answer!

Hi Tito,
   I didn't come across with VIP-400, but with VIP-450. I hope I can
give you some hints that is useful, but not I'm sure if I'm right on
VIP-400 series..
First of all, I assume that you have a VIP-400 that is inside your
local LAN, with a Linux box as a NAT router and GNUGK installed. First
of all, in order to make the gateway registered with your GK, remember
to leave the default gateway(i mean router here) to 0.0.0.0 (that is
none) and put your GK address. If you are really doing NAT, remember
to start the proxy in GNUGK, as you have to "bridge" the LAN and
Internet, but not using anything provided by NAT or IPTABLES etc.
Please tell me if you have any other problem (but please specify deeper...).

Yours sincerely,
Jason Chan, Hong Kong
