Excuse my question..

But when you say port forward do you mean I must open those
ports on the firewall for the static ip address for [Gnugk Gatekeeper
1]? We have [Gnugk Gatekeeper 1] physically on the internal network. And
then on the firewall I have a static map for the internal address to
translate to the external address for the outside world. Is there a
configuration on Gnugk that I can do? I am "trying" not to do any kind
of config changes on the firewall for ease of setup. If I have to that's
ok.

Please make sure you follow the port forward instructions

 From nat.ini

;; Note: For this INI to work properly
;; 2. The following ports need to forwarded to the gatekeeper
;; UDP 1719 RAS
;; TCP 1721 Q931
;; TCP 30000 - 32000 H245 & Q931
;; UDP 50000 - 60000 RTP/RTSP

from this line
2006/10/12 06:44:09.154 1 ProxyChannel.cxx(2949) Q931d Could
not open/connect Q.931 socket at xxx.xxx.84.130:30001 - error 12/111:
Connection refused

It tells me you have not port forwarded TCP 30000-32000
The reason you have no audio may be that you have not port forwarded
UDP 50000 - 60000 perhaps?
