Hi Reaz,
I had a friend facing a similar situation in
India, asking me to help him out. We first changed the signalling
port on the GnuGK to something other than 1720, and put the quintums and the
GnuGK on the same subnet (all using real ip). GnuGK was in routing
mode, handling only the signalling, while the RTP was established
directly with the quintums.
All was fine
until one day when we discovered that some of the RTP ports were also
blocked. In that case we were forced to use proxy mode on GnuGK and had to
define the RTP ports that could be used. Maybe you could try that
out?
BTW, our setup was for call termination.
Later, they stopped assigning real ips, and since then, our operation has been
sitting idle. I don't know how this could be done without using real
ips. Any ideas anyone?
Regards
