Actually we are running latest version of the gnugk open source gatekeeper.

This is an H323  gatekeeper.

Im unable to find out what is causing it to be restarted.Because there's no power problem out there.

Moreover there is no information in the log record to find out what made the gatekeeper restart.

Because of this issue we are facing problems like we are having users and suddenly when the gatekeeper

restarts ,there is no billing written to the database and there will be no charge for the call user  has made.

our scenario :

1.we use IP  phones to make calls,so once the call is made it passes thru the gatekeeper,and if it is a

IP to IP phone call the gatekeeper takes care of it and connects the IP phones.

2.If the call is between IP and a normal PSTN call the call is routed through a terminator who routes the calls to a PSTN.Terminator is like a service provider.

 

i would like to know whether the code contains any restart script,so that it is trying to restart it .

It is getting restarted for every 5days and sometimes it runs for 10 days.
