You will need to add this entry

[GKStatus::Auth]
rule=allow

by default status port access is disabled.

I installed gnugk with compiling these package.
 
 openh323-v1_17_3-src-tar.gz
gnugk-2.2.3-2.tar.gz             
 pwlib-v1_9_2-src-tar.gz

 
every thing is going good without any error
When i start Gk it can start
Starting GnuGK:                                            [  OK  ]
but when i trying to telnet localhost 7000,it give a message
"Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
 and when try to stop gk it could not stoped.
Stopping GnuGK:                                            [FAILED]
 
Anyone can help me.Plz
