Try

# ps ax | grep gnugk

just after you started up your gnugk to check whether it is running or not.

  but when i trying to telnet localhost 7000,it give a message
  "Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
 and when try to stop gk it could not stoped.
  Stopping GnuGK:                                            [FAILED]
 Anyone can help me.Plz
