Subject: Re:
Interepretting some of the error messages
Y: 0 - read error, 1 - write error, 2 - general error V:
internal PWLib error code (look for "enum Errors" definition in
pwlib/include/channel.h) Z: OS specific error code (errno in case of
unix)
"Forward blocked" means a remote socket is not yet connected or
already closed.
"Socket has no destination address yet" means media
path is not yet established in both directions.

I've seen requests from
different GNUGK fans regarding the meaning of some of the messages they would
find through the logs to have a better perception of what is going on and
how things should be handled properly.
I beleive the best source for
putting a correct meaning on each is the one who wrote the specific error
message with the specific error code for showing a specific
condition.
For start I would bring some of these messages to see if we
could get an explanation about each.

yasocket.cxx(638) Q931d x.x.x.x:1720 Error(0):
Interrupted system call (10:9)
In what conditions each of these error
messages would possibily happen and what is the meaning of the Y in Error(Y)
and V and Z in (V:Z).
Also in what conditions the following message
(forward blocked) would be generated and what it could result
to?

ProxyChannel.cxx(771) Q931s Received: Facility

3 ProxyChannel.cxx(3829)
Proxy x.x.x.x:33129 forward blocked
Not to mention that my
log file is full of messages like the following which "don pobre" also has
recently asked about.

3 ProxyChannel.cxx(2963)

Thanks, Bahram.
