Nope, we don't use firewalls inside our lab environment.
I have captured packets on both ends and I have seen both REQs and ACKs.

And you don't have firewall software on both PCs?

No, there is no access-lists between CCM and GK.
I have observed same behaviour when GK resides on CCM subnet(the same
ethernet segment) or even on CCM machine.
