Does anybody give some suggestion, please...?
I would like to put it into more simple way:
Can we replace EP H323ID(EP01) & E164(0001) with Child GnuGk related entries (Child01/9001)when make to PSTN? If can, how?
EP --- Child GnuGK --- NAT(ADSL)--- ParentGK --- CXGK --- PSTN H323ID: EP01 Child01 E164: 0001 9001
Now ChildGnuGK is registering to ParentGK as Gateway. Also Child01/9001 is authorized by CXGK, another ITSP platform. All I want to do is to use ChildGnuGK to break throguh NAT and do as Gateway to proxy all the calls from EPs in the LAN behind NAT.
Thanks a lot.
Brandon 2005.5.12Dear all,
Please give me a big hand on how to do this below:
CISCO ATA182* --- Child GnuGK -- NAT -- Parent GnuGK (Neighbor) -- GK(CX) -- PSTN
*CISCO ATA 182(I have thousands of it on my stock to sell) is similar to ATA 186 / 188, younger brother of them. ATA has one FXS port, supported H323/SIP. Since it was very old model of Komodo which was bought by Cisco, now there is no updated info or tech support for it. ATA 182 has a bad ability to break through the NAT even though I tried to foward the related port on my ADSL modem. So I set up a child gnguk to be a proxy to do the job for the call penetrating.
But one big problem here is that, ATA 182 just has one entry field for H323ID or E164 NO. If you put letter in, it will log in child gnugk as H323Id, while as E164 No if put pure digital. I can't have the H323ID and E164 NO at the same time in the child gnugk.
GCF|192.168.0.80|test@xxxxx:h323_ID|unknown; GCF|192.168.0.80|test@xxxxx:h323_ID|unknown; RCF|192.168.0.80:1720|test@xxxxx:h323_ID|terminal|3829_endp;
Meanwhile I set up a parent gk to be the server to response the child gnguk and neighbor to transfer the call for child gnugk site EP, that because now I use another ITSP GK(CX) for PSTN call which is very proprietary and can't support Nated EP(softphone or some VoiceGW).
All I want to now is that: 1. Interal calling to each other ATA 182 use digital as E164 NO so that can call each other in the same LAN.
2. Call to PSTN
(Option 1)Child Gnugk registers to Parent as EP using one authorized account H323ID & E164 by GK(CX) to take care all the call to PSTN for all ATA 182 in the same LAN. Thus the child Gnugk must rewrite 182's H323ID & E164 rather than its Only E164. Parent Gnugk doesn't change any config and does his proxy and neighbour transfering call to GK(CX)
(Option 2)Child Gnugk automatically give a assigned H323ID from database appointed by me beforehand and also H323ID is authorized by GK(CX). Then ATA has both H323ID & E164 NO and can call to PSTN (Child-Parant-GK(CX)-PSTN)
Please feel free to contact me if I make it not very clear.
I need all you guys a biggest hand here to overcome this issue so that I sell out all my stock ATA 182. Or anyone who has the interest for it, doesn't hesitate to drop me a line.
Thanks and appreciated! ^#^
