I am trying the very same thing. I couldn't do it with Asterisk and now I am working with a romanian softawre called Yate (http://yate.null.ro). It still has problems, though, even if I could send calls from SIP to h323.
Can you make calls from h323 phones to SIP phones?
Maybe it helps. If you manage to do it with Asterisk, could you please let me know? :D
