gnugk fastStart

A kind user on the list told me to configure a terminating endpoint to
disable fastStart in order to get rid of the problem with calls
terminating after 7-10 seconds. The problem is that I don't have control
over that gateway and the people there don't know how to disable
faststart.

Is there a way to disable, enable or force faststart from gnugk? Can it
be done with a quick hack for test reasons? Are there any plans to
implement this option in gnugk?

I am using gnugk in routed mode.
