My usual steps to build the gatekeeper are:
1. Get Pandora PWLib.
1a) ./configure --disable-sasl --disable-openldap --disable-expat --disable-ipv6 --disable-video --disable-sdl --disable-plugins --disable-alsa
1b) make optdepend
1c) make optnoshared
2. Get Pandora OpenH323
2a) ./configure --disable-audio --disable-video
2b) make optdepend
2c) make optnoshared
3. Get GnuGk.
3a) configure ...
3b) make optdepend
3c) make optnoshared

Build systems I use are:
- Mandrake 9.2 + kernel 2.4.x + gcc 3.3.x
- FreeBSD 5.2.x + kernel 2.4.x + gcc 3.3.x
- Solaris 7/8 + gcc 3.3.x

Executables built on the MDK run fine on most
other Linux systems. I've got problems only with Slack.

Do not forget to enable exceptions/RTTI in pwlib.
I am not sure if it is a case with Pandora release too
- ./configure --help may give you some hint.

./configure in pwlib says. checking if compiler uses RTTI by default... yes

i think this is what you mean, i dont know if i need to enter any config
params manually, i have not to date.
i downloaded 2.2.1 from cvs yesterday and compiled with no errors.
when i try to run i get a segmentation fault now.
everything seems to compile cleanly, the seg fault is on the target compile
machine. im wondering if i have to build another kernel.

any thoughts are appreciated.
best regards guys.
