howto rewrite e164

Hi,

I'm new to the list and have found the configuration of the gatekeeper a little confusing.

The setup im after is this:

I have one gateway receiving calls. I would like an extension added to the dialedDigits. For example. Call comes in as 123456(01-99) I would like 02 prefixed so the number becomes say 0212345601. We'll call this gateway gw01.

I have two endpoints receiving the calls from the gw01 and would like calls to 02-123456(01-89) routed to endpoint01 whereas calls to 02-123456(90-99) would be sent to endpoint02.

So far I have tried this configuration:

[RasSrv::GWRewriteE164]
gw01=in=......9.=02......9.=out=endpoint02
gw01=in=........=02........=out=endpoint01

The idea with this config being that:

Call comes in on gw01 that has a number long the lines of 1234569x it goes to endpoint2 all other calls go to endpoint01. Exactly what I want.

The problem is that the gatekeeper tries to send all calls to the host the gatekeeper is running on. What am I missing????

It rewrites the number to 02xxxxxxxx properly but does not send the call to the endpoint. I have checked that the endpoints register with proper names via printallregistrations on the status port and they do.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

Regards,

Kimble Young
