here the additional information about the proxy die after 24h reconnect
(with dyn. public IP)

some additional Information:
i use the Linux Executable 2.0.9 (before i used the 2.2.0 with the same
failure) (www.gnugk.org) on a customized DSL-Linux (knoppix based).
the proxy child gnugk is behind a NAT Router Linksys WRT54G at an ADSL Line
2048/384
the provider force an 24 hour reconnect (mostly done in germany) and provide
a dynamic IP Address which changing after every reconnect
