we have 2.2.1 on Slackware. we could not use it on FreeBSD due to that Ip address/aliases issue. we will retry with FreeBSD as it seems to be more stable than Slack

PS: I am running GnuGk 2.2 on FreeBSD and it works very fine, so I am curious what may be wrong.
