You didn't say what platform you are using.  If it is a Windows box running
ICS and Telephony service, as well as gnugk, it's likely that there are
interactions among these components.

I am not sure what you mean.  Is the calling client providing audible
ringback, which continues after the called party has answered?  If
so, this is likely a problem with an H.245 connection after Connect is
received.  If your endpoints support it, see if using fast start and/or
H.245 tunneling helps.

I'm not sure what you mean here, either.  Are you running Netmeeting
on the GK machine, and have it registered to the GK?  Does it work
properly if you run it instead of the GK, and call directly to your
friend's endpoint?

You'll need to find out precisely what is going wrong.  One way is to
run Ethereal on the GK's LAN and WAN interfaces, and see how
the proxy operates.  A detailed trace from gnugk may also provide
enough information, and is easier to set up.
