Hi Terry, The usual meaning of "didn't accept the call" is that the TCP connection to port 1720 was refused. Connection to that port from here does work, however. There was another user with a similar problem, and unfortunately I never heard how or if he resolved it. Run Ethereal on the GK machine and see if a TCP open to port 1720 is attempted. If not: Possibly some service, e.g. Telephony Service, is intercepting the socket. Stop that if it is running. With Ethereal capturing, from a command prompt, type telnet 70.49.166.64 1720 and see if a TCP open is attempted. If also not, something in the OS is at fault. Otherwise, and if you are sure that NetworkInterfaces is set correctly, then it does seem to be a bug in gnugk. But other users run gnugk behind NAT with no problem, so it must be something subtle. Perhaps Michal can help with this. You should probably first try 2.0.x and see if it works any better. The trace shows the GK trying to proxy. You should not need it for this call. Try turning off the proxy features and see if it makes any difference. I believe that the GK is smart enough to route H.245 when NAT is involved, but you should set H245Routed=1 to be sure. Also, if your phones support fast start and H.245 tunneling, try turning them on and see if anything changes. However, if you do see the GK attempt an open to the destination IP port 1720: Your Sonicwall may be blocking it, or perhaps your ISP. Capture the traffic on the WAN side of the firewall to see what's wrong.
