Hi Stewart, Thanks for the help. Its working now. I just enabled fast start on the IP phone. -----Original Message----- From: openh323gk-users-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:openh323gk-users-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Stewart Nelson Sent: Thursday, June 17, 2004 9:44 AM To: openh323gk-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Problem with IP Phone Hi Fernando, It looks like you have two private networks; 192.168.3.x and 192.168.8.x . If these are really the same network, are the netmasks all set correctly? If they are different networks, is the router between them using NAT? A firewall? On what address is the GK? Does the openphone call work ok, even when the openphone host has a 192.168.3.x address and is on the same LAN as the IP phone? On your log, it appears that the call went through ok, and was answered at 21:41:57. However, the IP phone probably didn't get any audio packets, and gave up about 10 seconds later. It could also be a problem with H.245 . If this call was answered by a person, ask them if they heard the outgoing audio. You can use Ethereal (on both sides of the router, if needed) to see what parts of the protocol are not getting through. If NAT is involved, make sure that you have [RoutedMode] GKRouted=1 H245Routed=1 SupportNATedEndpoints=1 Also, [Proxy] ProxyForNAT=1 may be needed, depending on the type of NAT router. Another thing that may help is enabling fast start and/or H.245 tunneling on the IP phone and the called gateway. --Stewart ----- Original Message ----- From: "Abano, Fernando A.
