Hmmmm.... I may be a little off mark here, but I do remember that I had a similar issue when I tried connecting from GnuGK to a Sysmaster, and the GnuGK was working in Proxy mode. I remember the issue had to with the 1719 port, or the fact that the sysmaster tried sending back to 1719, or something like that. But as I said, I may be a little off mark here.
