Sorry to say that you cannot have signalling and H245 proxying without proxying RTP. After years of working with Cisco kit, I have reached the conclusion that when it comes to gatekeeping, Cisco is not the man to neither trust nor use for anything beyond the basics.

On further investigation this seems to be related to proxying the call in IOS, if the proxy is turned on it works ok. Does anybody know whether you can have signalling + H245 proxying in IOS without proxying the RTP?

Hello Oleg, Thansk for the reply - I'm using the current CVS head. The relevant bits of the config are the same as yours as far as I can see:
[RasSrv::Neighbors] test=CiscoGK
[Neighbor::test] GatekeeperIdentifier=test Host=x.x.x.24 SendPrefixes=yyy AcceptPrefixes=* ForwardLRQ=always
Do you have the Cisco config for the other GK that you can show me? I have in mine:
gatekeeper zone local test test.com zone remote gk1 test2.com x.x.x.3 1719 zone remote gk2 test2.com x.x.x.4 1719 zone prefix gk1 9* zone prefix test * no shutdown !
Cheers,

Hi Ian,
What GNUGk version?
Do you correct Neighbor config for version 2.2beta4:
[RasSrv::Neighbors] GW2=CiscoGK
[RasSrv::LRQFeatures] ; timeout value to wait reply in seconds NeighborTimeout=2
[Neighbor::GW2] Host=x.x.x.x Dynamic=0 SendPrefixes=* AcceptPrefixes=*
We has no any problem.

All, I'm trying to get an Cisco IOS gatekeeper configured as neighbor for outbound calls inside GnuGK, but I can't seem to get LRQs to be accepted - I always get LRJs back from the Cisco. Currently the reason for the failure comes through as 'requestDenied'. Does anybody have any ideas? Also if someone could send me an example GnuGK config and Cisco config for this situation that would appreciated.
