I just commited an improved proxy code
to the cvs (2.0), so it would be good if some
of you can test it and report the results.
It contains two major improvements:
1. select operation for a single socket (in LARGE_FDSET mode)
use a simple OS select commant instead of
building a whole select list.
2. write lock for UDP sockets is unnecessary,
so it is removed. This result in elimination
of a few thousands of mutex lock/unlock operations per second
for 100 G.723.1 concurrent calls.
