Hi Daniel, I agree with your observations, but it also has to do with how you do billing. If you do online billing, for pre-paid systems, you are correct. However, if you need a billing system to perform offline/batch type billing, the choise between MySQL or PostgresSQL is no loger an issue. I'm currently in the process of checking MaxDB from MySQL, which is a beefed up, SAP compliant database engine.
